(MLB.com) Yankee owner George Steinbrenner announced the daily Top 10 list for CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman," live on Wednesday night from the club's Spring Training home in Tampa.

Here are the the top 10 "Good Things About Being a New York Yankee:"
10. "With a player discount, a hot dog at Yankee Stadium is now only $50."

Steinbrenner was congratulated by Letterman for acquiring Alex Rodriguez. Then Letterman joked with bandleader Paul Shaffer about CBS' decision three decades ago to sell the Yankees to the group led by a Steinbrenner.
"He purchased them from CBS for $10 million, and now they're worth an estimated $850 million," said Letterman. "Ten million. That's what CBS sold them for. And then they hired us."
