Warren Cromartie bobble-head doll, of which 5,000 were handed out before this week's Montreal Expos game against the Cardinals, is probably the best likeness of all the bobble-heads so far.

The famous gap between Cro's front teeth is, of course, the most distinguishing characteristic. "I belong now," Cromartie said yesterday. "There actually is a mold of Cro. Don't you go breaking it now."

Several players came up to the former player and part-time Expos broadcaster (radio games when the Expos are down in Florida playing the Marlins, and about half of the games televised on The Score this season) and asked him to autograph their Cro bobble-heads before he left town. 

Cromartie said another former Expo, Steve Rogers, called and asked for two. "One for him, and one for the Kid," Cromartie said, referring to Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter.

Cromartie arrived in Montreal Friday and had dinner at a downtown steakhouse that night with impresario Donald K. Donald.
